Breaking Down the Yield
Most people think staking INIT yields around 3%… last epoch, Cabal users earned over 150%. That wasn’t luck—it was architecture.
Cabal pooled INIT deposits and automatically directed VIP gauge votes toward rollups offering the highest bribes. Users didn’t need to research bribe markets, track vote deadlines, or actively manage positions. Cabal handled the routing, captured the rewards, and distributed yield directly to depositors.
The majority of yield in Epoch 3 came from bribes paid by interwoven rollups. Base staking rewards and LP incentives added another layer of value. By design, Cabal stacked every available yield source into a single, seamless experience.
Governance Power
On paper, Cabal held 6.66% of all VIP votes for Epoch 4. But this number is slightly misleading.
Once you adjust for the Initia Foundation temporarily voting 2 million per rollup across 11 rollups (a total of 22M votes), Cabal’s real share of governance power jumps to nearly 20%.
In other words, one-fifth of engaged INIT holders chose to route their governance through Cabal.
That level of traction is more than impressive—it’s directional. A signal. One that the interwoven economy can’t ignore.
What’s Next
VIP gauge voting for Epoch 5 is now live and Cabal is continuing to scale. But this is only the beginning.
We’re introducing a points program to reward early users with multipliers and unlockable boosts. The upcoming xINIT–INIT liquidity pool will deepen secondary market access for stakers. Cabal v2 is actively in development, enabling any rollup to integrate the same governance and bribe routing infrastructure that powers Cabal today.
